Cops have launched a probe after a murder bid on two men in Glasgow on Sunday afternoon. Emergency services rushed to the St George's Road area in the city shortly before 3pm to reports of an attack.
Two men, aged 32 and 36, were injured in the incident and rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident but police are treating the attack as attempted murder.
The extent of injuries sustained in the attack is not yet known. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: Around 2.55pm on Sunday, October 30, 2022, police received a report two men had been injured following an attack near the St George's Road area, Glasgow.
"The men, aged 32 and 36, have been taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of the incident which police are treating as attempted murder."
