A woman accused of murder said "I don't want to carry on" as she was questioned by the prosecution's barrister in the witness box.
Emma Walsh is currently standing trial accused of murdering her partner Gary Morgan, having knifed the 36-year-old in the heart at her home in Everton following a night in the pub. The mum-of-two continued to give evidence at Liverpool Crown Court this afternoon, Tuesday.
At one stage while being quizzed by prosecutor John Benson KC, she refused to continue and requested to return to the dock. Walsh claimed that a series of messages which had been put before the jury and showed Mr Morgan confronting her over injuries he had suffered at her hands had been incomplete, and had omitted pictures of injuries that he had allegedly inflicted on her.
