NEW DELHI: The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) at Rohini on Sunday claimed that they had found additional DNA profiles apart from the 27 people who had died in the Mundka fire in May. Police said apart from the bodies that were handed over to family members, there were no claimants of any missing person or body.
A senior FSL official confirmed the development and said they had preserved the profiles. There could be chances that in future someone may come searching for their missing family member or known person. At that time, the preserved DNA profile will help in identification.
