Mumbai woke up to cloudy skies on Tuesday as pre-monsoon showers accompanied by lightning and thunderstorms affected several parts of the city and surrounding areas.
According to ANI, parts of Lonavala received rainfall this morning amid changing weather conditions across the region.
Earlier on Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the Southwest Monsoon had advanced further into several parts of Maharashtra and is likely to progress into additional areas, including Mumbai, over the next 48 hours.
