Mumbai's air quality turns 'very poor'

MUMBAI: After a four-day bad air haul last week, Mumbai's air quality plunged into a very poor category (322) yet again on Friday, nearing that of Delhi's (326). Ahead of Mumbai marathon, it also comes as warning for those having respiratory issues.

According to SAFAR forecast the air quality may remain very poor for a couple of days. Experts said this comes as a caution for those with heart or lung diseases, the older adults and children not to indulge in longer or heavy exertion as it can trigger respiratory problems in them.
