MUMBAI: A lost, homeless man who was only wearing a dirty pair of shorts and serenely gazing at the expansive sea at Carter road in Bandra (west) made for an intriguing figure on Saturday evening. TOI reporter was at the site to cover the animal liberation march; but there was something odd about this homeless man's behavior which made the mediaperson reach out and talk to him.
Surprisingly, the homeless man who identified himself as Trideep Das (56), spoke fluent Hindi, English and Bengali and informed that he is a B.Com graduate from West Bengal(WB). When asked what he was doing at Carter road without any clothes or money, he merely said: "A jyotish (fortune teller) told me that my time is up; I will die tonight here."
