MUMBAI: A batch that spent its junior college years away from campus has graduated to university life with a success rate of 93.2% in the state. Mumbai division recorded the lowest pass percentage at 89.7% across Maharashtra, and yet its performance has been the best in the past decade, barring 2021, when it was a no-exam year.
Meanwhile, the elite 90%-plus scorer club in the state has shrunk considerably-to 10,048 from 91,420 last year. Although Mumbai was at the bottom of the pack in pass percentage, it boasted the lion's share of 2,766 students who got more than 90%.
