MUMBAI: The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is contemplating reviving its Twenty20 league. At an apex council meeting next week, the association will discuss the possibility of restarting the tournament that was held for the two seasons-in 2018 & 2019-before it was shelved.
"We are thinking of reviving the Mumbai T20 league. It's been pending for a long time. We are trying to see if it can be worked out. This is just the preliminary stage, we haven't decided anything. We are trying to see if we can conduct MPL from this season onwards. We will have a discussion on this in our Apex Council meeting next week," MCA president Amol Kale told TOI.
