Mumbai: All 5 held in cash for cabinet berth ‘con’ granted bail

MUMBAI: Investigation into the cash for cabinet berth racket has almost reached a dead-end with the police realising that the five arrested accused were conmen who did not wield any clout to manage such postings.

All five, including the mine owner who had allegedly claimed to enjoy connections with the personal assistant of a senior political leader in Delhi, were granted bail on Monday.
