Mum with 'back pain' after going back to work given devastating diagnosis

Messages of support have flooded in for a mum who is batting stage four cancer.

Katie Enell, from Crosby, began suffering with back pain for about six months. The 29-year-old said she put this to down to going back to work as a manager at the Tree House after being off on furlough and assumed she pulled a muscle in her shoulder.

The mum said the pain continued to get worse so she went to see her GP and to A&E. Doctors initially suspected Katie was suffering from Pleurisy - a condition which causes inflammation of the tissue between the lungs and ribcage - and she was signed off work for five weeks.
