A woman who thought she just had a bad back was told she was one cough away from using the use of her leg or bowel.
Emma Anderson lived in agony for years and was told it was down to sciatica – searing pain which typically spreads down one side of your body along the path of the sciatic nerve.
But the real reason for the 45-year-old's horrific discomfort was what one doctor would later call "the worst slipped disc he had ever seen", reports WalesOnline.
