A mum who has shocked her followers on TikTok by revealing her true age says she looks so young, most people think she is in her twenties. Amber Lancaster's followers on social media have been left stunned by the revelation she is not 15 years younger when she shared that she is actually in her forties.
Amber, from California, has an impressive following on Instagram and TikTok and regularly shares videos about her day-to-day life, family, outfits and other funny clips, the Mirror reports. The Price is Right model also shared in a viral video that despite her youthful looks, she was born in 1980 - making her 42.
"In your 40s... no way???" one stunned follower said in the comments of one of her videos. "Girl I thought you were in your 20s, you look so amazing!" another said. "You literally look 20 something," a third baffled follower commented.
In another viral video, she smiles and puts her age on screen with the audio saying: "This is for everyone who looks younger than their actual age and people don't believe them when you tell them how old you are."
The video instantly led to calls for Amber to share her skincare routine with her 80,000 followers, with one person saying: "Literally the only one I’ve seen where you actually look younger than your age. Now tell us all your secrets.”
Amber was happy to oblige, sharing the four skincare products she loves and "swears by" - the first being tretinoin, a prescription-strength retinoid used to tackle acne, discolouration, and wrinkles by boosting collagen production and skin cell growth.

According to skincare brand Skin and Me, tretinoin has no adverse side effects with long-term use but does require a prescription.
She said: "First being tretinoin, you need a prescription for this, I've been using it for 15 years and it’s literally changed my skin. I'm 41 years old and I credit this little tube right here. It stimulated collagen production, it’s like the number one ingredient that’s scientifically proven to change your skin. But you do need a prescription for that."
Amber also recommends adding a vitamin C serum into your routine to brighten the skin and the 'Ponds Dry Skin facial Moisturiser' at night. She also said that she has had Botox in another video but did not specify anything beyond that.
Most dermatologists also recommend wearing SPF protection daily, as this will protect your skin against UV rays which contribute to the skin ageing process as well as serious medical issues.
