A mum who unexpectedly gave birth on holiday after going into premature labour has spoken of her anguish after being told she may not be able to bring her baby home for at least six months.
Thurza Blagg, 32, was rushed to hospital in Rhodes on May 12 when her waters broke. Since giving birth on May 2, she has only seen her baby boy, who remains in a 'critical but stable condition' in hospital, a handful of times.
The 32-year-old claimed inaction from insurance company AXA led to a missed opportunity to repatriate her when she was given medication to delay labour - something the company refuted, reports NottinghamshireLive.
