A psychic mum who only became a medium a year ago now says she boasts a string of celebrity clients queuing up to speak to their dead relatives. Chloe Smith, 25, says she has soap and reality TV stars using her services after she began advertising her 'powers' 12 months ago.
She says she has since become a spiritual advisor to the likes of Gemma Collins, Kerry Katona, Amy Childs and Brooke Vincent who are all said to be fans. She says she has also helped Helen Skelton, Daisy May-Cooper, Love Island’s Maura Higgins as well as Amanza Smith and Chrishell Stause from Netflix's Selling Sunset.
Kelsey Parker – wife of the late Tom Parker – reportedly also speaks to Chloe to help her through grieving after The Wanted star died from brain cancer. Chloe, who now boasts over 150,000 followers on social media, said she realised her abilities after she saw the spirit of her nan at her funeral four years ago.
The mum-of-three began helping people with readings for free but enjoyed it so much she started her business last January. And she began to shoot to fame after Nadia Essex from Celebs Go Dating reached out to her for a session and recommended Chloe on her social media.
Chloe says it wasn’t long before stars of Made In Chelsea, Geordie Shore, Hollyoaks and Corrie started flooding her DMs asking for spiritual guidance. She also says she lists Belle Hassan from Love Island and EastEnders' Rita Simons among celebrity clients.
Now she claims she can see spirits everywhere she goes and can even sense them lurking behind unaware shoppers in the supermarket Chloe, who charges around £35 a reading, said she only needs a photograph to start connecting to the spiritual realm.
Chloe, who works as a medium full-time, said: “I’ve always kind of sensed things happening before they were going to happen. I always had extreme nightmares growing up.
“My nan passed away four years ago and I went to her funeral and I saw her standing there. I went back and started seeing angels and dead people at home. It was such a positive feeling, I didn’t feel anxious or scared. It does sound crazy but I'm really honest with how I see people.
“I started doing readings for free for about four to six months and then it started to grow even more so I thought I could make a living out of this. I felt bad at first. I do readings through photos. I can do them over the phone or in person but I just focus on the photo.
“I basically sense people’s emotions and energy from a photo. I can sense people by going to a higher level. Your past loved ones can’t come forward and say hi, I basically see symbols and signs or they use my body as a channel.
“To be honest it just comes to me and I see things in different ways. I start with a little bit of a speech and I welcome them to come forward. I use tarot cards to confirm information, but I only do positive information. I don’t tell you when you’ll going to die.
“I go with my gut feeling. I can help predict whether you’re having a baby boy or a girl. I had a 99 per cent success rate for fertility readings. I'm only a year into it and I’m bringing a book out soon too.
"People are coming back to me a year later and saying I was right. I can see you in person or over the phone but most people prefer a photo.
“I had a lot of dreams from people telling me to use my gift - and that's what I did.”
Chloe said she doesn’t just provide psychic abilities but the chance to help with anxiety and depression. She added: “I’ve spoken to Kelsey Parker who was married to Tom Parker from The Wanted, I speak to her quite a lot. I help her with the grieving process.
“Sue Radford, I speak to her a lot too. Quite a few people are on Hollyoak's, Eastenders and Coronation Street. I speak to Helen Skelton too. It is mainly women, you get the occasional man, but it’s mainly women.
“I don’t want to charge too much as I've been there when you can’t afford things. I don’t want to overcharge things, the most common is £35. I can see your past, present and future.
“Spirit and ghosts are different, ghosts are tied to the location. It's a timelapse with ghosts. Spirits look different to ghosts. Basically if you’re going shopping, your loved ones are around you the most when you go shopping. I can see them with you.
“Mainly everyone is psychic to an extent. My daughter is the youngest and she’ll always tell me things I'm thinking. I know there’s gonna be an ambulance coming around the corner. It's like that déjà vu feeling.
“I started on the 1st of January last year and by February I had 50,000 followers, it just started growing and growing. There's a lot of scammers that look like me. I've just recently started my own podcast on YouTube, the Chloe Medium show. I’m teaching people about spirits and opening things up for people.”
