A business owner has spoken out after becoming embroiled in a battle with her local council. Mum-of-one Holly Fitzsimons, 27, runs Little Oaks childminding business from the timber outbuilding in the back garden of her mum's home, and has done for three years.
However, she is now the subject of enforcement action after her planning application to change the use of the building was rejected. She first submitted the application in 2020 and now plans to appeal the enforcement action launched by Stockton Council.
The council began proceedings when the building in Malham Grove, Ingleby Barwick continued to be used, TeessideLive reports.
