Sick mum pretended she was fine at daughter's wedding

A mum-of-four was told she had a brain tumour the day before her daughter's wedding.

Kelly Doran from Wavertree suffered a seizure in October last year but was dismissed by doctors at first due to having epilepsy when she was a child. When the seizures progressively got worse she was taken into hospital for scans.

On November 18 she went to the hospital with her husband, Gareth, where she was told she had a brain tumour, at the time believed to be stage three. The very next day she was at her daughter's wedding acting as if everything was fine to make sure her family had the best day possible.
