A mum who was left confused over her newborn’s appearance asked doctors to investigate and was eventually told that he had a rare chromosome syndrome.
Hannah Doyle, 36, said when she cradled baby son Zander she noticed he did not look at all like either of his parents and had particularly swollen eyes.
She said her 'mother's instincts' told her something was wrong, so she asked doctors to carry out some tests.
