Mum-to-be told she is dying at 20 weeks pregnant

A mum-to-be was told the devastating news she had an incurable brain tumour at 20 weeks pregnant.

Laura Elizabeth Mahon, from St Helens, first realised something was wrong when she woke up and couldn't move her toes. The 29-year-old, who was 20 weeks pregnant at the time, said: “I didn’t think too much about it, after all I was pregnant and was feeling tired.

"But things got worse the next day and I could no longer move my right leg and was struggling to walk. Over the following week, I was unable to feel much of my right leg.”
