Mum-to-be Scarlett Moffatt has told how she was shocked to check in to a posh hotel and find it full of swingers.
The former I’m A Celebrity winner – who yesterday revealed she was pregnant with her first child – said she had been left baffled by a flurry of pineapple stickers stuck on bedroom doors.
It was only when she turned to Google that she learned the stickers were there to highlight the occupants were swingers.
Pictures of pineapples – often displayed upside down – are used by swingers to covertly reveal their sexual preferences to others.
Speaking on her BBC podcast, Scarlett Moffatt Wants to Believe, the TV star said: “People had little pineapple stickers on their door… I was like, ‘oh, mine hasn’t got a pineapple’, and I thought, ‘I wonder if that’s people getting room service?’
“I thought I was missing out on something. I was thinking, ‘Where can I get a pineapple thing from?’ and then I Googled it and I’m pleased I didn’t.
“Basically, if you ever see a pineapple sticker on a door, it means they’re swingers.”
Scarlett, 32, yesterday announced that she is expecting a baby with her police officer boyfriend, Scott Dobinson, 36,
who co-hosts her podcast.
She revealed the happy news in a sweet video featuring her beloved chihuahua Bonnie wearing a ‘I’m going to be a big sister’ bandana alongside a picture of her baby scan.
Scarlett, who is currently appearing in BBC1 reality show Scarlett’s Driving School, wrote: “It truly feels like a dream writing this caption.
“Me & Scott are on cloud nine & we are so happy that we get to share this moment with you all. You are so loved already, little one. Baby Dobinson coming soon.”
