Mum-to-be praised for 'brave' trip to Glastonbury Festival while eight months pregnant

Being pregnant is hard work, and when you're almost ready to give birth, most mums-to-be are likely chilling out in front of the TV or doing more sedatary activities in order to preserve their energy.

But one mum decided her last few days of freedom were going to be spent partying and having fun.

TikTok user GirlBossAdventure posted on the video-sharing platform to show she's still managed to get to Glastonbury, despite the fact she's heavily pregnant.

She captioned her clip: "I’m gonna give you all an honest review of what it’s like camping here 8 1/2 months pregnant and let you know how it goes."

She then proceeded to give followers a tour around their home for the festival, which included a blow-up armchair for comfort.

The parents slept on an airbed which they claimed 'is comfier than it looks' and they also had snacks aplenty to keep them going.

After their first night, the mum-to-be claimed she slept better than she did at home.

Addressing some viewers' concern about rowdy neighbours, the mum added: "You choose your campsite and how you want your experience to go."

She also explained there are family options, as well as campsites for those who want to party all night.

Her partner also carried round a chair for her to sit on during some performances.

In the comments, she acknowledged it was super busy so preferred to just "sit at the back."

The reaction to the videos was mixed, even though she explained the tickets were bought three years ago pre-Covid so she never intended to be pregnant during the festival, but some commented on how 'brave' they think she is.

One said: "Fair play to that. Nothing would stop me going if I had a ticket."

"You're mad, but I hope you have the best time!", wrote another.

One pregnant woman wrote: "No way, the bladder situation would be the worst for me."

"Omg you’re so brave," another supporter said. "I’m 35 weeks and can barely muster the energy to find the remote to watch on TV. Have an amazing time!"

Others were concerned for the woman, commenting: "Just be careful in them crowds as could be very dangerous for you and baby."
