A mum thanked an NHS worker after a gesture that 'meant the world' to her.
The attendant, working at Whiston Hospital went 'above and beyond' to help the mum- who was rushing her unwell son to the hospital's accident and emergency unit. Upon arriving at the hospital, she found the car park to be full, at which point, the attendant approached and after seeing the condition of her son- guided the car around to the ambulance car park.
Unable to move her car from the area normally reserved for ambulances due to caring for her son, the NHS attendant assured the mum that he would make sure she would not receive a parking fine. An act which she said 'means the world' to her, despite how small it may seem.

The mum took to Facebook to share her thanks for the act, stating that NHS workers 'deserve all the praise they get'. While also thanking the individual attendant for his efforts.
Her post said: "I brought my son to A and E on Monday morning in an emergency when the ambulance was taking too long to arrive.
"The A and E car park was full, I was asked to drive round to the other side of the hospital and park around there, I explained that my son was really poorly in the back of the car, when the attendant saw him he guided me round to park on the ambulance car park so that I could get my son into the hospital quickly and told me not to worry about the car being there. My son got admitted to the hospital and I obviously couldn't leave him to move the car.
"The next day the same attendant made sure that I didn't get a parking ticket and my car was safe where it was left until it could be moved for me later that day. The NHS staff are constantly praised and appreciated and rightly so, however it's people with the smaller jobs like this man who are never noticed and never appreciated.
"It might not seem like much to some people but it meant to world to me."
