A mum was absolutely stunned to discover how her "glory hunter" husband spent his recent day off work.
The mum discovered his actions by accident, which was especially surprising to her. After spotting a handprint on a door and going to clean it, she thought she'd tackle the rest of the doors in their house, only to see they were already clean.
Her husband had "deep cleaned the house", and tackled all the "sketchy" jobs that are often forgotten. He'd cleaned "behind the furniture, the skirting boards, the dodgy bits of dust and grime in the creases in the window frames", and even "degreased the extractor filters" and "all that nonsense throughout the whole house".

In a jokey post on Mumsnet's Am I Being Unreasonable thread, she detailed his day-off antics and then added: "He didn't mention it. Which is out of character as he can be a bit of a glory hunter [with] housework stuff. But he just said he was off work, kids were all out, I was at work and he needed something to do. He's even descaled the kettle.
"This is untenable. How can I ever do pass agg [passive aggressive] cleaning around him now when he's done six months worth of my jobs for me. F***er."
The mum's post was met with more than 100 replies from fellow Mumsnet users. One asked: "Can you send him round to mine next time he has a day off please? Am willing to pay".
Another Mumsnet user quipped: "Well that's just rude!" A third said: "You're just trying to make us all jealous OP [original poster]....and it certainly worked on me!"
And a fourth referenced the title of the mum's post - 'I've just found out what DH [dear husband] did on his day off' - and joked: "Clickbait!" And another quipped: "I'm so sorry op but your husband has been murdered by Triffids and replaced with a clone, hence his unusual behaviour."
In a follow up comment, the mum added: "For some reason he decided to see what needed doing and did it all. I've lost all high ground now. I'm fuming."
