Mum's three-word message to boss after stealing £100k for Instagram lifestyle

A mum stole £100,000 from her boss to fund a lavish lifestyle she couldn't afford.

Laura Howarth, 41, tried to copy the lifestyles of glamorous women - including her boss' wife - by forking out on a white SUV, expensive hair extensions and VIP concert tickets. The mum-of-two worked as a finance assistant, earning just over £900 a month and owed thousands in pay day loans, LancsLive reports.

However she stole from her employer "every single week" so she could splash her luxurious lifestyle over Instagram. Preston Crown Court heard Howarth, of Devona Avenue, Blackpool, went as far as applying for extensions to the credit card limits so she could pocked up to £6,000 a month, Lancs Live reports.
