A mum was spooked out and had no idea what to think when her two-year-old son told her he used to be an adult who died on a quest to find water.
Mum and prolific TikToker @kelsewhatelse shared her little boy's apparent reincarnation claims with her thousands of followers who were keen to find out more.
Her intrigued fans encouraged her to ask more questions after the post which gained nearly eight million views and 10,000 comments.
@kelsewhatelse said her son told her: "I used to be an adult. … But then I sunk, and I became a kid.
"When I used to be an adult, I had a map, and I was traveling through the sand to try to find water.
"But when I found water, I sunk, and then I became a kid again."
The mum claims her son has since been describing experiences he's never had before, Yahoo Australia reports.
Some commenting shared similar experiences with their children, including one parent who said 'when he was big he used to work on cars'.
But others were more sceptical, saying children under the age of five merely have wild imaginations.
The Mirror reported another TikTok story yesterday - a woman who has spoken out about how, after being told she was "too old" to have a baby at 40, she just "went ahead and did it anyway", showing all those who doubted her.
Make-up artist and self-described "old mom" Laura Francz is delighted to have become a mother for the first time after 40, having her baby despite having apparently come up against some critical attitudes.
Not long after, at the age of 41, Laura welcomed another baby "for good measure", just two weeks before celebrating her 42nd birthday, being among a growing number of women to give birth after the age of 40.

Taking to TikTok, Laura shared a video of herself dancing around triumphantly to the sound of Billy Joel's My Life , telling her followers: "When people thought you were too old to get pregnant at 40 and you went ahead and did it anyway. And then once more at 41 for good measure".
