A young mum who lost her leg in a horror crash has praised the “amazing” staff who saved her life.
Ruby Flanagan, 25, from Wallasey, said that she has “blocked out” a lot of the incident at Bidston Moss Retail Park , which saw her crushed between a silver Mercedes and a blue Volkswagen on Monday, August 16, 2021.
The mum was carrying her new-born over a zebra crossing towards Aldi when she crushed between the cars. Her sister-in-law Chelsea later said that Ruby managed to throw her five-month-old child to safety when she realised she was about to be hit.
