Every parent knows the struggle of buying new school uniforms, especially with the prices on the rise, but one savvy mum has managed to keep the costs low with her impressive Aldi haul.
Mum-of-two Sarah Ross has stocked up on her son's back-to-school essentials ready for September, and has managed to get 40 items of uniform for £42.74 from Aldi, sharing her purchases on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook.
She explains how she bought 10 pairs of trousers at £1.75 a pair, 12 polo shirts that were £1.75 for a pack of two and 10 pairs of socks which were five in a pack for £2.49.
Not only did she grab the uniforms at bargain prices, Sarah also picked up two P.E kits each for her sons buying four P.E shirts at £1.89 for a pack of two, and four pairs of P.E shorts for £2.99 in a pack of two.
Making her total price £42.74 - a fraction of what she would have paid elsewhere.
Now her sons are able to have a clean uniform every day as well as two P.E kits each too, and other mum's on the post have been quick to commemorate Sarah's shop.
In her post, she writes: "Still can't get over how cheap this was!!!"
Claiming she "will never go back to M&S again" the savvy shopper couldn't believe her luck and has amassed over 600 likes and 646 comments from other avid parents also praising the quality and price.
One person commented: "You can't beat the quality of M&S but also really can't go wrong at these prices."
"I did both Aldi and Lidl for my grandkids, you can't beat the price. I tend to go up a size as they do come up on the smaller side. However when they come home from school missing a sweatshirt you don't have a full-on meltdown at £1.50" writes another.
Thirdly one person gushed: "My daughters have lasted well all this year including the socks from Aldi and we've just got more of the polos again tonight for September. She's very happy as she's got her lunch box, backpack, and bottle all matching!"
