A mum was speechless after being approached by a stranger at A&E.
The mum, from Southport, went with her 12-year-old daughter to Ormskirk children's A&E without realising how far it was from her home.
They were taken in an ambulance to the hospital but when it came to getting a taxi home she realised that she was short of money.

After being told there were no available arrangements to take her and her daughter home, she began to panic until a stranger appeared out of nowhere with money for them to get a taxi home.
The made-up mum took to Facebook to share the generosity and goodwill of the complete stranger.
She posted: "My 12-year-old daughter has been poorly and after ringing 111 yesterday they said she needed an ambulance ASAP and sent one. I didn’t realise how far the nearest child A&E was and have literally £7 in my bank until tomorrow and no family or friends locally.
"After being treated and seen it was around 10.30 when we could leave and I explained I didn’t realise a taxi would be £18-£20 and I didn’t have enough money to get home and we were stuck (my daughter in her pjs, dressing gown and fluffy slippers) they told me they don’t have the facilities to provide help getting home even though we came in an ambulance and she didn’t even have shoes on and suggested I look at buses.
"An absolutely lovely lady who was in the waiting room with her child came over and gave me £20 to get us home!! I took her details and will pay her back this week. I got her name and number but if she’s on here I just want to thank her again!
