A mum has been slammed as unreasonable for "not wanting to be friends" with people based on their star sign.
The woman revealed she doesn't "get on with fire signs", admitting she finds them to "be about image". In astrology, fire signs refer to those with an Aries, Leo, and Sagittarius star sign.
She also stated that "all [her] failed friendships" are with women who were born under a fire sign. She took to popular parenting forum Mumsnet to ask if she has "finally gone cuckoo".

The woman wrote: "I know if I read this I would probably think I was crazy. But it’s dawned on me I don’t get on with fire signs!
"I like them as acquaintances but I always feel let down by them as I'm quite deep and emotional and I find fire signs to be about image and quite hard-hearted.
"All my failed friendships are with fire sign ladies - have I finally gone cuckoo lol."
Since being shared, the post has received dozens of replies from fellow Mumsnet users. There were a range of opinions about whether the woman was being unreasonable or whether she was justified.
One argued: "Yes you're basically writing off 25% of the whole world as having the same personality traits and as people you don't like."
"YABU (you are being unreasonable) to believe that star signs are an actual thing," a second echoed.
"I've rarely read anything so silly," a third commented, while a fourth agreed: "Do people really, I mean genuinely believe in all this crap? Seriously?"
A fifth posted: "Maybe you'd have fewer failed friendships if you were less... nuts?"
"I'm cringing so hard for you," a sixth simply said.
A seventh stated: "Be friends with whoever you want. Got to be honest, if someone asks me my star sign then tells me a bunch of stuff as a result - I tend to not take them terribly seriously."
Meanwhile, an eighth shared: "I'm a fire sign and I have loads of great friends born at different times of the year, so I think maybe it's YOU that's the problem. I wouldn't want to be friends with someone who believes in this ridiculous claptrap anyway so you're all good."
However, other users felt that the woman was right to trust her intuition, with one commenting: "There must be some truth in it or there wouldn't even be such thing as fire/air/water/earth signs and their compatibility with each other etc? I might look into this myself, might be a reason as to why I haven't clicked with certain people."
