Mum shocked after giving birth to baby girl weighing whopping 13lb 2oz

Jade Smith Nottingham City Hospital Nottingham

A mum has given birth to a baby girl weighing a whopping 13lb 2oz and says she couldn't believe the size of her "chunky" daughter.

Jade Smith, 22, gave birth to her firstborn Paisley Jade West on August 2 2021 at Nottingham City Hospital via a c-section, reports NottinghamshireLive.

After being told her baby might be large, the mum "didn't think much of it" to begin with - even though she was finding it hard to walk around.
