A mum said she is 'scared to take her dogs out' after her three-legged dog Marley was viciously attacked.
Mum-of-two Barbara Walker was walking with her two dogs on the field by the Running Horses Pub in Lydiate on Tuesday morning when the incident occurred. While throwing a ball for the dogs to catch, she saw a dog that resembled a pitbull run off from its owner and start coming towards them.
Realising the dangerous situation that was about to unfold she scooped her five-month-old puppy into her arms. The stranger's dog then proceeded to attack her dog Marley.
