Mum says there is 'one rule for politicians and another rule for the public' as bailiff claims son's lockdown fine

A mum has been forced to pay bailiffs £1,600 for her son's unpaid lockdown fine.

Amanda Martindale, from Stanley in County Durham, acknowledges that her son Alex "did wrong", but is "infuriated" given the recent revelations regarding Whitehall lockdown parties, reports Chronicle Live.

She said there is "one rule for politicians and another rule for the public".
