A mum says she's managed to drastically reduce her energy bill by making one small change in her home. Sharing the tip on a money-saving Facebook group, the woman says her bill for gas and electric was reaching up to £20 a day and that was without the heating on.
After some investigation, she discovered it was her old light bulbs sapping energy.
By fitting new LED bulbs throughout the house, not only has she managed to reduce her direct debit, bit she says her energy company has refunded her £700.
