A mum whose daughter was given a rare diagnosis after attending a routine appointment has issued an important warning to other women.
Sarah Waters was due to have a routine smear test in 2020 but it was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. After re-booking her appointment for April this year - she was given a shock result.
The 30-year-old, from Prescot, Merseyside, had just go back from a holiday to Spain thinking 'everything was normal' until she received a number of 'urgent letters' saying she needed to be referred for further tests.
