A mum is worried for her family's health after her block of flats has become overrun with pigeons. Cat Humphrey lives in May Court in Edinburgh with her husband Harry, 37, and two-year-old son Ashton.
She said she has been left disgusted with the amount of mess from birds roosting, along with the smell of droppings and dead birds. The family moved from Newcastle to Edinburgh in April and said there were health concerns from residents, with a "massive, thick build up" of droppings is covering the landing of the flats.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live, Cat, a care coordinator, said nesting pigeons in the stairwell and balcony had left those areas of the block covered in bird droppings.
