Mum's fury as daughter served school lunch that 'looks like it's been stood on'

A mum has slammed a secondary school after her daughter came home starving - because she couldn't stomach her 'vile' lunchtime meal.

The parent was left in disbelief that students at QE High, the biggest school in Carmarthen, were expected to eat the food on offer there, Wales Online reports.

Managed by Carmarthenshire Council, the school dinners are priced at £2.60 a day, but some say the food is almost completely 'inedible'.
