A mum ended up having a finger amputated after a horror quad biking accident - while on her dream birthday holiday. Lucy-lou Merner flipped the vehicle during a Moroccan getaway in an accident in front of her children.
The mum-of-seven says she reluctantly agreed to go on a quad bike adventure across miles of rocky desert two days into her 40th birthday holiday. She swerved to avoid a rock during the ride and turned the vehicle upside down, crushing her.
Lucy-lou, from Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes, severed her finger in the accident, leaving her in excruciating pain as she was rushed to hospital. She ended up having to have the digit amputated after doctors said it could not be saved.
