A mother-of-one has told of her despair at being on the list for a council house for 27 years.
Recently widowed Fiona O’Loughlin, 51, claims her original application was made in May 1995 - when she was 24 years old.
She showed a letter she received from Limerick City and County Council stating she has been “an approved applicant” on the Council’s housing waiting list since February 2005.
