A mum says a Nottinghamshire-based business is not sending back her daughter's teddy bear unless she pays them £20. Donna Nevill, 34, from Norfolk, went away on a family holiday to Slough to take in the sights of nearby London, using Onpoint Apartments based in Main Street in Kimberley.
Mrs Nevill and her family decided to leave their accommodation a day early on Friday, July 1 as they were unhappy with the state of where they were staying - not realising until they were back home that they had left their daughter Summer's teddy behind. Summer, aged nine, is autistic and heavily reliant on the comforter, which she struggles to sleep without.
However, when the family contacted the company to let them know what happened, they say that they were told they had to pay a one-off charge of £20 for it to be sent back. Onpoint Apartments has told Nottinghamshire Live they make no profit from the £20 fee and as a small business they cannot absorb such a cost.
