A mum has divided opinion online after she stopped collecting her nephew from school due to her sister refusing to pay for a TV he allegedly scratched.
The stay at home mum had been collecting her sister's nine year old son from school and watching him for two to three hours until her sister, who is a single mum, finished work and could collect him. However, this changed after the mum found "a bunch of scratches" on her TV, which her nephew denied being responsible for.
According to the mum, the marks weren't there earlier in the day when she was watching a film. She said that the scratches "were all in a circular pattern, like someone had tried to clean it, but with something rough enough to leave scratches." In addition to the scratches, there were also some "discoloured wet spots" on the carpet near the TV, which the woman was able to remove. Her husband tried to fix the scratched TV, but nothing seemed to help.
