A four-year-old girl has been left with permanent scarring after being mauled by an American Bulldog.

Amy Hobson had to punch and kick the dog away from her daughter as it held her on the ground at a friend's home.

Little Luna-Ann Forsyth had to be taken to A&E by taxi after call handlers said it would take several hours for an ambulance to arrive, reports the Mirror.
