A heartbroken mum has opened a new coffee shop in Leeds in memory of her teenage son who tragically died from leukaemia.
Cup19 opened in Bradford Road, Stanningley, earlier this year. The coffee and cake haven has proven to be popular ever since, serving delicious coffees, milkshakes, paninis, cakes and much more.
Owner Caroline Hardy opened the café in honour of her late son Haris Hussan. He sadly lost his life age 19 after a long battle with acute myeloid leukaemia.

Haris loved to play cricket and played for the Yorkshire under 16s. When Caroline, who was previously a midwife, named the shop she decided to honour his love for the sport with the name Cup19.
Losing her son made her realise she had to pursue her dreams in his honour. She left her home in Sheffield to move in with partner Matt, who is a cricket coach - the pair now live in Leeds.
After losing her son Caroline decided not to go back to midwifery. She moved from Sheffield to be with her partner – cricket coach Matt, who lives in Farsley.
The couple went self-employed and opened the space for coffee lovers. They wanted to build a space where people can relax all day and not feel rushed.
For his 19th birthday Haris, a talented wicket keeper and batsman, raised over £20,000 for the charity DKMS UK, fighting against blood cancer. To continue his legacy his family created the HH 1843 Foundation to support teenagers affected by cancer, through sport.
The proceeds of the 19th cup sold every day are donated to the charity. It is served in a special white cup.
