The mum of an 11 year-old schoolboy who was tasered by cops during a stand off in which he was holding a knife, is demanding an apology.
The boy, who has learning difficulties and cannot be identified, was tasered by a 50,000 volt stun gun after being surrounded by officers at Craig Tara caravan park in Ayr.
His mum has shared her horror as she tells of how her son was holding a butter knife after complaining of not getting a Burger King when the incident unfolded and branded his treatment “disgusting”, reports the Record.
