Pleas have been made by the mother of Love Island Jacques O'Neill for trolls to stop sending nasty messages after he was branded a "bully". Janet Wright posted a photo of herself with her son on her Instagram page.
She said hundreds of comments had been sent to her after Remi was voted off the ITV2 show and called Jacques a "bully " who made his time in the villa "s***". Speaking on a YouTube series , he said his co-star would "constantly" mimic and make fun of his fellow Islanders.
Writing on Instagram, Janet said: " "People sending nasty messages to me please can you stop. "It does hurt. Thank you."

The reality star's mum was inundated with messages of support from her followers. One told her to "pay no attention".
Another follower said: "Ignore the trolls! They troll because they don't have lives and have got nothing better to do."
Speaking on Reality with Will Njobvu, Remi said there was a "lot of stuff going on" in the Love Island villa, which wasn't aired on television. He added: "So basically - me and Jacques got into quite a lot of arguments and it just made my experience s***t. It ruined it for me. People were saying 'It's because he's got a rugby persona' - but you can't treat people like that."
