Mum-of-four comes under fire for viral video showing husband's vasectomy care package

A hilarious care package given by a mum-of-four to her husband after his vasectomy has divided the internet.

Natalie Chard, from Cornwall, shared a video on TikTok titled "Our baby making days are over", showing a collection of products she'd given her partner Mike after his operation, each with a funny name or message.

Among them is a pack of boxer shorts accompanied with the words "briefs for your grief" and a box of Jelly Babies where the 'Jelly' part of the label has been replaced with the words "no more", reports Cornwall Live.

Orange juice with the label "all juice no seeds", eggs with "you can't fertilise these" and ibuprofen with the word "ouch" on them were also included, alongside lots of other treats to enjoy during recovery. Many of them edible.

The video has had more than 2.7million views and although most people saw the funny side some didn't, with one even questioning if Natalie had "forced" Mike to get the procedure.

"Am I the only one that thinks that this is a little cruel," another man said.

A third went as far to say he would "probably divorce her".

Natalie responded to the negative comments.

In response to the divorce jibe, she said: "Good job I’m not married to you, what a silly reason to divorce someone, good luck finding a wife."

She later added a fresh comment, stating: "I love my husband and wanted to treat him, not like I asked you lot to get one, I didn’t even ask him!

"It’s his choice, I wanted more kids."

Among those jumping to her defence, one wrote: "She knows her man and how he’ll react.

"He definitely found it funny. Stop being dramatic."

Another person posted: "Amazing! All I got was a 'well I was in labour for 42 hours, so suck it up'. She did have a point."

While another said: "If I don't get a care package like that I'm going to be really disappointed."
