A mum has issued a warning after losing her sight and 'almost dying.'
Debbie Ronan, from St Helens, suffers with diabetes, and in early 2019, the 45-year-old began experiencing bleeds in her eyes, impacting her vision. The loss of sight has had a devastating impact on Debbie's life, causing her to have to give up her job as a maternity support worker.
Being out of work has taken a toll on mum Debbie, who has been in her role for over 20 years. However, her condition leaves her unable to perform her duties and requiring almost full time care from her husband and family.
