A savvy mum has shared her top tips to secure a bargain breakaway for just £6.80 per person a night.
Holidays can be expensive at the best of times, especially given the current cost of living crisis, so any way to save a bit of cash is often welcome news.
Mum Jodie Chilcott-Jones has done the hard graft for you already and has taken to Facebook to share her best money saving tips.
She managed to unearth a bargain break with Haven Holidays next May for just £109 for the whole family for four nights - working out at just £6.80 per person per night, the Sun reports.
"Haven have some great savings on atm!" she wrote. "Just booked 4 nights away for £109 in may next year (two adults and two children)."
While meticulously searching, she also showed a four-person caravan, some of which were blessed with sea views, that started from just £79 a night for four nights next May, although she opted for one with access to the swimming pool, entertainment and activities which started from the slightly higher cost of £99.
Some holidaymakers advised anyone booking for next year to pay for the extra cost, with a mum adding: "I booked this last year but realising it was without passes and I had to upgrade for passes so we could go the live lounge and swimming and book any of the activities. Cost me £105 more."
Jodie's initial Facebook post has since gathered over 1,000 comments as many jump to praise the price of the bargain deals.
One exclaimed: "Omg brilliant we need to get on".
Meanwhile, another parent had a different trick up their sleeve.
Haven price match, so if you book cheaper somewhere else you may get the same deal with Haven.
"They also price match," the mum wrote, "so once you book if the same deal goes down in price they refund the difference we’ve just received an £75 refund due to price promise so always worth checking bookings and deals."
