Mum got call while she was cooking dinner telling her to get to critical care

A mum who went to the doctor after feeling light headed got a phone call as she was making dinner telling her she needed to go to critical care immediately.

Lisa Richards, 50, went to see her GP to complain of fatigue, but a blood test showed she was suffering from AML, Acute Myeloid Leukaemia.

Lisa has now spent nine weeks in hospital and faces more chemotherapy as well as a bone marrow transplant, reports The Echo.
