A mother has spoken of her trauma after being arrested and held in a police cell for seven hours for confiscating her children's iPads.

Vanessa Brown, 50, a history teacher from Cobham, Surrey, was accused of stealing the devices after taking them away temporarily to encourage her children to focus on schoolwork while she visited her mother.
