Mum 'floored' by price difference swears by M&S after comparing weekly shop to Tesco’s

A mum has revealed the startling price difference after carrying out the same Tesco food shop in one of its rivals.

Shopper Claudia carried out her usual food shop in Marks & Spencer only to be billed a fraction of the cost, despite its reputation as one of the most costly supermarkets.

The M&S bill came to almost £57, while she claims her Tesco shop of the same items reached £91 the week before.
