Mum felt like 'jumping off cliff' after £3,700 Turkey boob job exploded out of her chest

A mum has revealed that she felt like 'jumping off cliff' after her boob job shockingly exploded out of her chest.

She has now revealed that she feels "like a different person" after they popped out following the botched surgery in Turkey, as she is urging others to properly research the complications of having such an operation.

Kelly Young had surgery to boost her cup size to a double-D in the UK 24 years ago, but when the right implant ruptured in 2018 she decided to have them replaced as well as an uplift.

The 48-year-old the splashed out a whopping £3,700 to get her second boob job in Turkey in September, because she says it was the 'cheapest' option that she found.

The days following the surgery, she spotted that she had a hole underneath her right breast that was oozing pus.

She was then horrified to spot that the implant was poking through her skin.

The mum-of-two was then forced to catch what she says was a 'frightening' flight back to Turkey - with the implant hanging out of her chest - for revision surgery two months after, in November.

Kelly claims that upon arriving back to the country, the surgeon washed out the infection and replaced her 420cc implants with a smaller size.

After going under the knife once more, the mum believed that her nightmare was over.

However, Kelly, from New Malden, Greater London, was left horrified to find a second hole in both implants around December.

They were both removed and she was advised not to have any more surgery, which she reveals left her devastated.

A month on from her final surgery, Kelly won't let her boyfriend see her chest and is now urging anyone considering going under the knife to do their research beforehand.

She says: "The implant ruptured about five years ago.

"It wasn't causing a problem but when I lay down, my right breast went to the side more than the other one.

"I thought I'd get them a bit perkier, I went for an uplift with new implants. Turkey was the cheapest place to go to get it done.

"When I got back, my daughter went to change my dressing and said the stitches had come undone and it was weeping.

"My doctor said it was infected and put me on antibiotics. I was seeing the district nurses every day to keep an eye on it and dress it. It started oozing more and getting bigger."

Kelly continued to explain: "They had to pack wadding inside the hole daily to stop it getting bigger then they couldn't do anymore, it was too big and getting worse everyday so I had to go to A&E.

"It was a great big hole. I wouldn't look at it, I didn't want to know.

"It was literally hanging out and I was advised not to fly but it was my choice so I decided to go back. I had to get on the plane with my implant hanging out, I was frightened."

The mum said that a day after the surgery "a whole load of blood" started coming out of her breast, despite the surgeon telling her that it "was normal and would be like that for a few more days."

She flew back home, but tragically, the wound opened up in a different area.

Kelly said: "I was sick of having holes in my boobs and having them dressed every day.

"A UK breast surgeon said I was losing the second implant, there was a massive infection in there and I should have waited six months before having another implant in.

"Every day it was getting bigger so I went back to Turkey. They said there was nothing they could do, they'd take it out and I shouldn't have any more treatment, no uplift or anything.

"He said I had very little breast and some sagging skin and that was it. I went home because I was depressed out there."

But after having the implants removed, Kelly says her confidence has been shattered.

She has admitted that she is looking for another surgeon who can fix the damage, adding: "I'm very unhappy with them, I feel like a 12-year-old again. I don't let my boyfriend see me, everyone knows me with my boobs.

"I'm on antidepressants, when I was out there I wanted to jump off a cliff.

"I've got three lots of scarring with a flat chest. I feel like a different person.

"I have to get them done, I wouldn't be able to wear a bikini - summer would be a nightmare."

Kelly says that although she wasn't charged for the two revision operations, she did splash out a huge £6,200 altogether on the initial surgery, flights and accommodation.

She also admitted that she did not do as much research as she should have before the initial operation, revealing that she booked the surgery in Turkey quickly so she could fly out with a friend who was having work done on her teeth.

Kelly said: "I'd been waiting years to have it done. I wanted to get it done so I decided I was going. I didn't want to be without implants.

"I didn't think there would be complications and I didn't think that if there was, seven weeks later they would just tell me I couldn't have any more surgery.

"People need to do research, look at all the complications that can occur and make sure they don't pay in cash because if you pay by card you have more rights."
